I put mine right over my bed.
I asked my Dad to put up a shelf by my bed.
I try to stick with a theme. For example, this theme is purple/dream.
I also try to change the theme about once a month.
I know you can't read this, (sorry the camera would not focus)
but it is a quote from the book Hugo Cabret. Quotes are a great
way to personalize your room!
If you have any collections, set them out. As long as you
keep it neat they look really fun! This is my very very
small collection of lotions.
Putting your art work out is an other great way to personalize
your room! I taped mine and my sister's coloring to her bed.
If you have a book shelf sort the books into categories for example,
horses, activity books, classics, animals etc. Then put little figures, pictures, bookmarks
and so on, on the bookshelf near the books that remind you of the figures you placed there.
(Does that make sense? I can't seem to word it right.)
Have a small bag near by your bed to put books in.
My sister hung her bag around a lamp.
I call this my patch pillow. Your patches could be something like,
your interests, favorite animals, memories, places you have been to etc.
It is an other fun way to personalize your room.
